Standard 2: Skillfulness & Health Related Fitness
Physical education candidates are physically literate individuals who can demonstrate skillful performance in physical education content areas and health-enhancing levels of fitness.
2a.
Demonstrate competency in all fundamental motor skills, as well as skillful performance in a minimum of four physical education content areas (e.g., games and sports, aquatics, dance and rhythmic activities, fitness activities, outdoor pursuits, individual- performance activities).
***Below are activities that I try to participate in weekly. I think it is important to be able to play an array of sports/activities in order to be able to teach them. I try to dance, walk, practice frisbee skills for Ultimate Frisbee, and practice serving and returns for tennis. (I'm still practicing in tennis-no competition yet!)

Achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of fitness throughout the program.
***Summer of 2020, I took a Fitness course. Below is my pre-test mile run and post-test mile run. (I don't run much due to a lower back injury) I was also able to improve my fitness in every area of health-related fitness including body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.
